CONTINUING from blog dated 14th january 2013 'Cross stitch of me half way to finished'

definitely over half way through my cross stitch, she is hoping to finish it
before the end of February and already has the next one lined up

Cold Days
Brrrrr the past 2 days have been sooooo cold, look at mums pictures out the window at work, if it's not snowing it's frost... I am so glad I am snuggled up in the warm at home... ;) It is a tiny bit warmer today, but apparently it is suposed to snow later and maybe through the weekend... I will have to snuggle up with mum under the fluffy blanket and keep warm

Cross stitch of me half way to finished
So anyway mum has always wanted a cross stitch of me
her favorite bird in the world... ME... ;) she would hint to her friends who did cross
stitch that she would even pay someone to do it but none of them got the
hint.... hmmmm. So mum being mum decided she would do it herself. So she
practiced a couple of hours on a little square and then went for it on the A4 picture of my head.
Here is her progress:
- 1st Dec 2012: Mum got an A4 piece of fabric and printed of an A4 cartoonized picture of me and drew a pencil outline of me on the Fabric this is the picture she is using
- 4th Dec 2012: Mum only did 2 hours on the 4th she is still a newby and this is how far she got. I am pretty chuffed with her I think she started off well
- 28th Dec 2012: She took a little break and then had her work Xmas shut
down from 21st Dec and she started doing the cross stitch again..
1-2 hours a night and by the 28th this was how far she had got
So mum continued doing 1-2 hours a night until she returned to work on the 3rd, then slowed down a little again only doing 1-2 hours as and when she gets the chance
- 13th Jan 2013: I think she is about half way through, she has sped up a lot and is enjoying it so much. And this is how much she has done up until the 13th (yesterday)
